sorry to break the truth to you, but the IS300 is one of the worst lexus cars made. I own one too, so i feel ya. lol. The "popping" sound is very very common, made into the car lol. Everyone gets it, and the problem is that its the floatin calipers. At first I thought it sounded like the suspensi
Select Data list. Scroll to the bottom and check the status of the immobilizer. It should read BAN with a Red dot. If it does, exit the data list and press IMMOBI button. (see below) If it reads RUN then the immobilizer has not been enabled in the K-Manager software. Quit then relaunch K-Manager. Open your calibration.
Step 3: Remove Components. *Warning* remove the negative cable off your car battery. This device will broadcast that the vehicle has no battery power. It has a tiny rechargeable battery that will last approx 3 days. Easy way to remove the components is to disconnect the antennas at the receiver and pull the eye or antenna part. To do this, turn on the ignition, use your centralized button to enter the digits, several quick presses (example: 2 for digit 2) then a stop of one and a half seconds to confirm the digit and resume, replicate the procedure until you have entered the full code. This should enable you to start your Suzuki Swift without having to remove the Remove Immobiliser. My 1998 Volvo V70 Cross Country increasingly stops a few seconds after starting the engine. After hours, rather days, of internet research it looks like this is almost normal and has something to do with the immobiliser. We came to the decision we are not interested in whether it is the key or the antenna or dozens of other this may be an indication the the immobiliser is working and preventing the car from starting. Check that the battery in the fob key is good. Try and use a code scanner to reset the immobiliser in the CPU of the ECM. If there has been a disconnection of the battery at some time lately then that affects the immobiliser. 1. Remove the screw from the back of the cover and open the cover of the transmitter. 2. Pull the transmitter out of the cover and carefully detatch the sticker from the unit. 3. Remove the battery and replace it with the new one. Make sure the positive side of the battery faces up. svvs.
